April Fools!
check out <a href="http://slashdot.org/" target="_blank">slashdot</a> - so many good new ones. Google's actually had me going for a while even though I thought it was a totally stupid idea on their behalf - I imagined myself abusing the free color photoprints <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
Anyone have any plans for good hoaxes today?

wow..Google Introduces Gmail Paper haha
Everyone loves Gmail. But not everyone loves email, or the digital era. What ever happened to stamps, filing cabinets, and the mailman? Now with Gmail Paper, you can request a physical copy of any message with the click of a button, and it'll be sent to you in the mail. Photo attachments are printed on high-quality, glossy photo paper, and secured to your Gmail Paper with a paper clip. And it's totally free: the cost of postage is offset with the help of relevant, targeted, unobtrusive advertisements printed on the back of every print."<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I do not know about you, but I wouldn't be surprised of the toilet ISP and the gmail news end up being true. Google will rule the world one day.

So true. Anyone can edit in wikipedia. Depending on articles, some may be edited for false truth without anyone noticing.
It made me sad when I realized that today was April fools after seeing all the Aqua Teen Hunger Force commercials saying they were showing their movie on comedy central on Sunday. But apparently it was a double-fool! They put it up on youtube instead.

The obligatory <a href="http://www.blizzard.com/whoa/" target="_blank">Blizzard announced new game</a> April Fools trick is up. Apparently it's a real time strategy version of World of Warcraft! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Wasn't that original and was expected they would do something very similar, bit disappointed this time round <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" /> They could have atleast said there was going to be a Diablo or Starcraft MMO. Then people would have went nuts believing it.

Fix'd, 99.9999 times out of 100 joke edits are very easy to spot and are fixed immediately.
If you ask for directions on google map that require you to travel between continents it now tells you to swin whichever ocean you end up crossing.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
That is not an April fools joke, it always tells you to do that.

Not necessarily the joke stuff is the stuff that's incorrect. They sometimes just have false information or biased views thrown in for no reason. And I know they must have neutral articles, but that doesn't mean they always are. NBC did a story on Wikipedia, and toward the end, the reporter said she looked up herself on there, and her birthday was off by months.
Not to mention the place is filled with a bunch of argumentative "experts" and online philosophers who throw a tantrum whenever you change their so-called "accurate" information because you know it's wrong. Don't get me wrong, though; I still go to Wikipedia to look up stuff, but I don't use it as a primary source. What I mean is, check Wikipedia, but always double-check the information.
