<div class="IPBDescription">omg</div>Was the most amazing show ever! I can't believe they got some of the shots that they did....

The paradise birds dancing was the most amazing part of the show so far IMO. Well that or the hunting dogs, so sick!

I agree on the dancing bird. It was pretty wild watching that wolf hunt down that caribou calf too.

I didn't realize though, that this series is focusing on wildlife so.

oh wow, I didn't know they had made more - I thought it was like a 4 or 5 part series. I stopped watching after the caves one or something like that.

These are amazingly done and I definately need to watch these other ones.

I think I was watching a Planet Earth show on the oceans. They had some awesome deep-sea cretures.

My favorite were the birds that would dive up to 60feet into the water to snap up fish. You don't normally think of birds as being able to swim that well.

That was Blue Planet, 404. That's an awesome series, I loved the luminescent deep-sea Jelly fish.

I missed Planet Earth, forgot about it, I'll just have to catch a rerun of the that episode.

Planet Earth is an 11 part BBC production, was aired in the UK in the last year I think? And they have a narrator which fits in so much better.. some old british chap.. I watched almost half of the series, then yesterday saw it on tv with Sigourney Weaver narrating. Felt so weird. >_<

But either way, the footage they have in this documentary is the best EVER. Seriously, do not miss.

    David Attenborough is hardly just some old british chap. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

It's an incredible series, I remember some fantastic footage from all the episodes I've watched. "Pole to Pole" has some pretty frightening shots of a great white shark.

Ripley did a good job, though, as far as documentaries go.

I think the Dogs win the "most awesome clip" award. Did you see them split up while running towards their prey? Frickin' slick. Then again, there were tons of great scenes. What did you guys think about the baboons crossing the stream?

    Hold it right there.

    Planet Earth without David Attenborough?

That just seems really sad, even worse than the Office US.

The guy is a living legend, and is pretty much responsible for the popularisation of natural science. You really should get a hold of the BBC release and appreciate one of the great science popularisers of our age.

I was amazed at the thousands of miles the Caribou travel as a herd.

And THEN.... the wolves begin stalking them, seeking out the weak (the calves). The chase begins, and we were told it can last up to five miles. FIVE MILES full bore / wide open!

    WOW.
