Irc For Clans

<div class="IPBDescription">Wich one to use now?</div> I didn't want to fill the Clans forum with this so I put it here.

mIRC 6.01 (I think) now cost $20 after a 30 day evaluation.
Some of my new members didn't have IRC allready and had to download the new one. They can't and wont pay for mIRC.
Does anybody know of other good IRC programs?

    I have heard good things about <a href='http://www.xchat.org/' target='_blank'>XChat</a>, but i haven´t used it myself.

    Try to search on <a href='http://www.google.com' target='_blank'>Google</a> for <b>free irc clients</b> and try some of those you find.

    i just use mIRC but when it says you have to sign up i just click then i go and any room i want!

    I say make them get the 30 day evaluation anyway, temporarily until you get something better

    I downloaded and instaled mIRC followed by Invision.
    Neither have said anything about 30 day trials and were both from their Official Homepages.
    Just lucky I suppose

    But seriously, i've had both for months without paying anything and its all legal and legit
