I just got through beating Area 5 for the first time. My hands are throbbing in tempo with the song beat.
WOW. This game has not only lived up to my expectations, but was actually worth $40 and 30 minutes of my time to take apart the PS2 and adjust it so it could read the disc.
Like, seriously, I haven't played a game this stylish and awesome since Shadow of the Colossus.

Looks like fun
Castlevania: SOTN, Tetris Attack, Tobal #1
Gotta love the sleeper hits.
Thought from the article it linked to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia" target="_blank">Synesthesia</a>, which I have and it's pretty sweet.
Did you get the special 'trance vibrator' version omega? :3

Naw, but I'm sure the controller could work just as well for those purposes if you which certain article I'm referring to ;O
Liku: It's something you have to play for yourself to really understand. It's really damn cool.
Well, in that respect SOTC is just short version of Zelda with hardly any plot <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->Zelda couldn't wipe SotC's ######, and I'm a Zelda fan. They don't look, sound or play like each other.
<strike>So why's Rez good, anyone?</strike>
Alright, I'll try and play it.
He's just upset because you're being skeptic about something that, in his view, is undeserving of skepticism.
My favourite thing is the sound that plays when you move to the next level, that bassy Bwhoooooom! And of course the extra layer added to the musical beat. It's a sweet game.
Also, it seems there's going to be a sequel to either the X360, PS3 or Wii. I want this :S I wanted to get Rez way back then, but never having owned a PS2, kinda made it hard.
Too bad she has no PS2
[...]the former girlfriend has the vibrator.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> (now for a completely unneeded, and not at-all-serious remark) I guess you weren't adequate, eh eh? *nudge nudge* *wink wink*

Looks like <strike>fun</strike> an acid flashback.

Hey, I'm pretty good at that game.
Likewise I don't need size.

The only fault on SotC was that it was so good, you could never stop playing it and blazed through it way too fast.
And its nothing like Zelda. *glare*
However I put that out there to make a point.
While they share the same play mechanics,
they are miles away from each other in terms of quality.
Just because the genre isn't original doesn't mean the game can't be.
Actually it is very much like Zelda

They dont share any gameplay mechanics. In SotC you ride around on a horse holding your sword in the air which directs a beam of light towards where you need to ride to. When you get there, you encounter a boss (there is no fighting beforehand) where you have to climb his body and stab his weakpoints.
In Zelda, you run around doing a quest(s), usually killing many many creatures, with no scaling of gigantic creatures, with no large, vast open fields to ride through on a horse, with puzzles in between.
There are hardly any similarities.
Like what, Swinging a Sword and moving your character?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Climbing
Jump and roll
Bow and Arrow
Hell it also has some horse riding
Obviously they are different games.
Hell, between FPS games there's quite a bit of variety.
But the basic mechanics are all the same.
What? In both cases you build crap and kill other crap, right?
