<div class="IPBDescription">No joke!</div>It's true! After over 100 episodes of crappy fillers, they have FINALLY come to an end with episode 220 being the last filler episode! The story ends off on the last filler episode exactly how it's supposed to before the fillers started with Naruto going away to train.
Rather than just continuing the real show at episode 221, the real show has started as a new series called "Naruto: Shippuuden"

Edit: Removed silly question
I kind of have lost all interest in Naruto. But who knows, One day I might check it out again.
Even trough the fillers are over, they cannot just Roll back. The Naruto History remains tainted.
Not if you didn't watch any of the fillers and were waiting for the real show to start again.
Sadly I can't really get excited because it's been forever and I've kinda moved on :p
Naruto turned to sh*t after a while, it's just going the way of DBZ. I stopped watching a long time ago, I'm too far out of the loop to get back into it.

It was called "fillers" which is what this topic says - THEY'RE OVER and the show is back to being normal and good.
Finally i say!
Bleach are back on track too, didnt noticed it.
I have lost all faith
The Naruto fillers are officially over for one episode.
I have lost all faith

Source?
This last episode is ok. The proluge with Sasuke is amazing though, the animations are pretty smooth. Hope they can bump up the story a bit.
I hate naruto on cartoon network, the dub just ruins it so
I want my subs!

Do you understand Japanese? The English voice actors aren't that much worse then the Japanese voice actors.

Do you know what episode Bleach is back on track at? That's another I'd like to continue <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Believe it!
And if that isn't enough reason to stay away from the dub, well, I'll hit you in the head with a cricket bat.

I like the subbed versions better. Japanese Animes that are dubbed in english are horrible most of the time. I prefer watching them subbed.

one of my friends is fluent, it's just they rape the story with the dub, <b>BELIVE IT!</b> =(
They change alot of the tenses, and the love interests are totally ruined, <i>NOT TO MENTION THE CENSOR THE BLOOD ON SEXY NU JUTSU!</i>
it's tons of things like that which ruin it
Like the recap ep, where saske does the fire jutsu, and kakashi thinks to himself in english "gennin can't do fire jutsu, it takes to much chakra" while the sub says something along the lines of "he's taught himself fire justu at this level, impressive.
You're best off reading a translated manga if you don't want to miss anything, since manga translators will often write an aside if something doesn't translate over reasonably effectively.

Between episode 112-113. Not really sure. At least it's back from the fillers <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

umm, there isn't MUCH of a difference in those 2 lines, either way he is stating he is impressed at the amount of chakra he is handeling when he is only a Gennin. I still find it mildly amusing that the main source for subs of Naruto/Bleach are GNAA, one of the biggest groups of twits around.
Sub Vs Dub? Yah, I prefer subs, generaly because the voice acting just blows dead bears. The Japanese voice acting can also suck horribly, but I can't make it iout, and thus it doesn't bother me!
As for actualy watching them, well I have given up on watchign anything atm in all honesty.

They rape the story with the subs as well. It's impossible to completely accurately relay the context of discussion between languages. It doesn't make it any better that many of the jokes are related back to either classical Japanese comedy or some other well understood cultural standard.

Is this true [y/n]?
I wouldn't know since I've never watched anime in my entire life.

That's hilarious, Naruto meets Emo.

Naruto met emo ages ago. He's sleeping with Corporate America now.

Oh come on! Any idiot can hear a bad voice actor even if they don't know what they're saying. The script, the words that are said, are the job of the script writers. The pronunciation and character of the voice is the job of the voice actors/actresses and quite frankly you'd have to be really silly or deaf not to be able to hear if they're good or not regardless of language.
The voice acting in Japanese Anime <b>tends</b> to be miles better than the dubs merely because over there voice acting is a booming profession and the material is often respected purely because it's the people making the darn thing choosing who's doing the voices.
Over here it's more like "oh, something for kids to watch on Saturday. Lets hire the same washed up voice actors we use for almost every other cartoon despite the fact they have absolutely no talent. Kids love it when they easily recognise that half the characters are done by the same guy who did one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
It shows too. The few Animes where they've brought in higher paid talent to do the dub usually far outshine the dross that's standard in most ports.
Of course, regardless of the amount of money that goes into it sometimes even the cheaper productions occasionally pull off some acceptable or amazing renditions. I suspect "Cyber City Oedo" (officially dubbed by Manga) isn't really all that faithful in it's translation but by it's own rights it's a fantastic piece of humour to watch and the voice actors obviously had a lot of fun making it :3
I found Dragon Half (dubbed by ADV) to work quite well too, though strangely some jokes worked more in Japanese, while others were much, much, much better in English. Go figure.
Don't really remember them Liku, but, if I don't remember them then that means they were probably ok <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
