Flayra, you should offer a NS2 Collector's Edition, for the sole purpose of making plush gorgies <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pudgy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::gorge::" border="0" alt="pudgy.gif" /> available to everyone who wants them :x. Pre-Order only, limited edition plush gorgies. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. $50 for game and plush gorgie.

    absolutely awesome idea. i'm sure there's thousands of people who are eagerly awaiting NS2's release, and they should be rewarded for their patience. im sure none of them would mind paying a bit more, just so they can get some extra special goodies....

    i wouldnt want to wait 1-2 years for a game, buy it through steam where you dont even get a box/instruction manual!

    maybe even make the pre-order for the collectors edition available only to Constellation members first, then everyone else after the official release?

    this also raizes another question, why doesnt unknown worlds have a merchandise section??? they could sell T-Shirts, coffee mugs, toys posters etc, and raise a lot of revenue....

    Dude, 100$ for a game w/out a stuffed plushie or thingy..or whatever a plushy (ie?) is anyhow? What are you smoking?

    But ya, that'd be a cool idea--BUT there's a lot less interest in posters, game scenes, sketches than with HL2. Imho, there should be only one 'extra' pack and that should definitely include a plush gorgie (new model or old model, does not matter). The price also does not matter as long as (I think) it's under maybe 70$. Even I would hesitate strongly b/f spending 70$+ just to get a stuffed gorge.

    Adding other things to the package would perhaps be cool to add 'perceived' value, when in reality the only thing that eats up the profits in such a package would be the uber plush gorgie.

    In the case of a mayor release in bronze, silver and gold editions, would probaly allso need mayor work in the marketing section, and whit only 2 people ( flayra and max ) working fulltime... this is neer to imposible fore the time beeing... but sure... ill gladly pay the 10-20$ extra to get a gorge "teddybear" and other merchendice...

    But what about the consi members that allready payed the 20$+?

    I don't think most consties expect anything besides a warm feeling inside and would gladly pay a little extra for some kind of collectors edition. I just hope if one is realeased it's notin such limited quantites that it sells out in like 2 minutes.
