    I won't pretend to be an expert on the matter, but apparently the song is about a certain conflict in the Ireland region. Not sure which side of the conflict the song is talking about, if I remember the vid comments correctly from when I browsed them out of mild interest, it was the IRA.

    you can hardly call a threadover after some of the vids already posted <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> especially with a radiohead song that's, frankly, not their best.

    good call on Knights of Cydonia, i find <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xsp3_a-PMTw&mode=related&search=" target="_blank">Supermassive Black Hole</a> to be creepy and awesome.

    i think a big part of it is that it's all about the music with them... just having fun and shredding. they look super serious but they're wearing everyday clothes and playing extremely fast and intricate measures on imaginary instruments. it's funny (and awesome) to me, anyway.

    They're a band that doesn't take themselves seriously. They make fun of themselves and other metal bands 90% of the time in public. All their promo shots are them doing all these overblown expressions and poses. They're just a bunch of dudes making good music, and they make it visible they don't really care to take things TOO seriously. It's what I like in a band.

    Aside from being very weird, this is a very thoughtful video if you care to look into it. Anyway, it's 100% stop motion animation and its cool! Plus it's directed/done by the bands guitarist, which is just cool.

    Pretty much anything by Chris Cunningham is top-notch. I've been into this guy's work for over a decade, ever since I saw the very bizarre video he made for <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF7VwQNv9Kk" target="_blank">Autechre's Second Bad Vilbel</a>. He has improved a lot since then, doing music videos for <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjYrTuXUvEM" target="_blank">Madonna</a> and <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQH4AdOg2MU" target="_blank">Bjork</a> and <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRiqps32F4s" target="_blank">the alien girl adds for Sony Playstation</a>.

    yeah.. I've seen it.. very bizarre. At this year's cork film festival, there was 3 seperate <a href="http://www.onedotzero.com/home.php" target="_blank">onedotzero</a> slots. One of them showcased the early days of experimental music videos at warp records and finished off with a few of the more recent efforts from Cunningham. After Come to Daddy and Rubber Johny, the audience were suitably freaked out.
