Since there have been news of media regarding Fallout 3 I had a go with ps and some old pictures.

By the way do anyone have a high-res image of a NS marine? Im thinking of doing something similiar.

Great positioning though. The shadow from the mask could be more realistic.
Shadows, shadows, shadows, their hard. I tried to manually apply a shadow with brushes but that looked way to edgy so to speak. In this I used "drop shadow" in blending options and adjusted the light source so it atleast looked somewhat like my own shadow plus the sliders for size and distance.

The main reason why it still doesn't look 100% right is because the ambient light on the mask doesn't fit with the rest of the picture (look on the helmet for example).
@ Andos, Well, the best would be to make the mask from scratch then light it up accordingly, I guess a simple color replacement wouldn't look right.
