Good freeware system diagnostic tool?

...like dxdiag...except, you know, good
For a long while I was using AIDA32, but about a year or two ago that stopped being updated, and so my main means of obtaining cool information about my computer(s) has been hampered for quite a while now. It was one of those cool tools I used to find out what kind of RAM I should buy to upgrade my computer - unfortunately, since it doesn't work anymore (or mostly, it still identifies some stuff), I don't have a cool diagnostic/system analysis program. Since some people around here manage to find very obscure (and oftentimes not obscure) freeware and such, I was wondering if anybody had any sort of recommendations.

Personally I'm looking for something that can tell me specifically what speed RAM is running at, the bus speed, CAS latency; FSB for the CPU, and lot of other useful information (although at the moment I'm a bit focused on RAM, so that's where all my examples are from).

So, anybody got any cool programs lying around?

If you're looking to upgrade the RAM on a system you got from a vendor like Dell, some manufacturers have a search feature on their websites (Kingston, for example) that can find compatible memory. It's not nearly as fun as getting a program to do the analysis, but it can be a good temporary solution.

CPUID is pretty good, although for checking what ram your board can use... why can't you just check your mobo's site? (lazy?) Anyways, the link for it is here

    http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php

PC WIZARD would be the more advanced version of cpu-z. CPU-Z = small and needs no install and pc wizard shows way more information but needs to be installed
