T2: I don't see how that pertains to the situation sir.

ME: Because I am going to send you my broken xbox in the biggest damn box you have ever seen."<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

i find it hilarious. some guy is angry that his xbox is broken but he has to pay to ship it to microsoft so he is going to try and screw them over. im sure the cost to microsoft will be nothing but its still quite a clever little plan.

I'm pretty certain if you send a broken 360 to Mircosoft in a shipping container, then they're refuse delivery if there's nothing scheduled to come in...

On another not, could you image just how much bubble wrap would be needed to fill it...

    I smell a tension reliever <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

I am tempted to donate, because the big ###### shipping payment on that argument is a hella funny.

Sounds like a bit of a weener to me. He got a box last time when they weren't obligated to give him one, and now that they won't give him one a second time, he gets all annoyed? I mean come on, you should be grateful they gave you one before.

Just like every other ######bag tool out there who preys on the "enlightened".

If your local customer support in your country lacks compassion, then do one of the following...

    1: Move country.
2: Buy a different brand that does the same thing
    3: Get "skillz"

I can't imagine how much it would cost to send a single shipping container somewhere. That guy was quite
clever at making policies sound rediculous.

I hate the word policy. It means obstructed progress. It means stupid rule we can't move on just because. It means 'not one of our customers is gunna like us for doing this so we'll call it a policy'.

I hope Microsoft will change their policy and then do something ridiculous back to him.

This is a totally stupid plan.

You mean like return the storage container to the company that owns it (because individuals can't buy them legally...) and ship his 360 back to him in small bits, with a self-assembly manual enclosed...

    In Japanese...

with 10 too many screws of one type, and 11 too few of another...

qft, he has it posted on his own page microsoft saying they changed their policy... what's to stop them from changing the box policy again?

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->T2: Ummm, policy would state that we have to return your box to you.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->T2: Sir there is a clause in the warranty that came with your console stating that we have the right to change the terms of agreement at any time.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Wow, I bet this guy got everything he wanted as a child. The world isn't fair, get over it.

Microsoft should just refuse to repair his xbox. Leave him with an empty cargo container and a broken xbox.

I would like to see them refuse to send back the container on the grounds it isn't a box, it's a storage container.

It sounds pretty funny, but this is going to backfire on him. Which sounds like a good plan anyway.

Thta's basically what I said, the repair center would have a schedule of all deliveries coming in expected in large containers. One day, some trucker would pull up with a container on his trailer, and ask for a signature. It'd be a large consignment, so they'd have to check the schedule. Nothing for that day? Then it'd get sent back.

I'm guessing he'll never send it back and instead use the money to buy a new xbox 360, a game, a controller, and some other crap =)

    Possibly.

If he was first really serious about the box thing though, he'll possibly just spend the money on himself once he realizes "All these people sent me free money, infact $2000!. Screw you guys, I'm spending it on myself".
