Rare Secret Creatures, to encourage furthur explorations (caves)
I find cave systems of Subnautica simply gorgeous.
But the reality is, players don't actually have any reason to take risk to explore those caves. There are no rare creature or rare chunks.
Sometimes Sea Crown, yes, but nothing more. This means, beauty is the only reason to explore deep caves.
So why not adding some exclusive variations of currently existing creatures and put them randomly into some deep caves? Blue Garryfish, Giant Peeper, Cute/Friendly Baby Leviathans(of all three, hidden from outside) etc.
These will encourage players a lot to dive into caves, while making caves themselves more vivid than just a eye-candy cargo of some static plants.
It would be also great for future steam-achievements.
p.s. we need holefish school! On the first trailer we see holefish school but we've never had it.

I'm closing this thread as Charlie has already stated the facts about multiplayer. You can't just add netcode to an existing product and make a multiplayer game, it just doesn't work that way.

I have used the dive reel once or twice, for exploring bigger caves, but the problem is that the cable clips right through the walls.
It's useless, yes, because you follow the reel back to a certain point only to have it disappear into the rock. It's like being trapped in a Lovecraft story.

Y'know, I'm willing to just let the Devs do what they say is probably or possible in their game. But, consider...

Here we have Don't Starve, a well-reviewed game released back in 2013.

This is Don't Starve Together, an expansion slash rerelease of Don't Starve that happens to feature co-op. It was released in 2016.
What I'm trying to say is that if the devs of Subnautica use the Don't Starve method of introducing Co-Op ("Subnautica: Second Encounter"? "Subnautica: Castaways"? I'm not a title guy) then I can sort of see it. Y'know, like they mentioned it would happen if at all in the post quoted earlier, that they'd basically have to make a new game to put in multiplayer.

This game really delivers on recapturing the awe and peace without exhaustion.

Yes im for Co-op too,howewer i agree isnt most high priority thing for devs.First complete game to 1.0 and after add Co-op

Then again, looking closer, that whole picture seems kinda Photoshopped. Either that or the picture was taken at precisely noon.
It's amazing how often I find myself discussing this kind of issue online. That's definitely a real photo, semi-famous. By the end of the war more lugers were in allied and Russian hands than German.
