Re: PS4 version unplayable
Thanks for the update! How long does this certification normally take?
Re: PS4 version unplayable
Hey guys, if you faced the save bug (CellsCache-baked-batch-cells) then just follow one rule: NEVER NEVER NEVER quit, until you get the successful save, because your save file is ALREADY corrupted (during the failed saving process) and unfortunately on PS4 there is only one save slot. You need to find a right way or/and a place to make a successful saving and then copy you save file to USB stick. So next time you can replace the corrupted save file with your latest copied save.
I guess I found one good point for saving - it's around the south beach of the main island (about 850m to north from life-pod). You need to get outside of your Seamoth (if you're using it) and stand on ground. In that way you'll be far enough from Warpers, your base, Aurora, and all other stuff that can break a saving process (I'm still not sure as for what exactly causes the fail).
P.S. You can also try one work-around that sometimes works well - it's a death and respawn.

Re: PS4 version unplayable
It can vary, but we're hoping it'll come out of certification by the end of the week.
Re: PS4 version unplayable
We've been working with our engineers and QA team since this save game bug was introduced with the last patch. We resolved the error late last week and the build is now with Sony awaiting certification. As long as it passes, the update should be coming soon.
Re: Subnautica: Below Zero Price Increasing on PC Storefronts - Subnautica
Cannot wait to set aside some time to dive (no pun intended) into Below Zero. Subnautica was one of the most refreshing and memorable games I've played to date.
Re: Subnautica: Below Zero Price Increasing on PC Storefronts - Subnautica
When is subnutica below zero coming out on playstation 4 console ?
The plan is still to simultaneously ship Below Zero 1.0 on PC and console. So, we're working on the same early 2021 projection.
Thank you for Robin
Seriously. Both females, and people of African descent, are very marginalized and underrepresented in popular media, video games included. As a woman of African descent myself, thank you so much, for creating Robin - a strong and beautiful black female protagonist. I can't speak for anyone else - but to me, it means a lot. Thank you.
Re: What vehicle do you enjoy piloting the most?
I like the cyclops cause the horn reminds me of the jaws theame XD
Re: Ideas for future Subnautica Updates!!!
I truly wish we had some tasks like research so that the bases had more meaning. Maybe animal research or allow an AI to do research on artifacts that are helpful. Putting a small base next to the cubes that keep leviathans away, then being able to keep baddies away would be great fun.
I wish subnautica 3 was you coming BACK to the planet to work off debt for Alterra by building all the bases. IN the process, you do all sorts of research. Then you find another stored alien and they help you build a huge self sustaining spacecraft that allows you to be free of alterra.
Even if they didn't consider any of this, just letting the items in the first game be in random locations for replay value would be fantastic. Not requiring the sub to get off planet, but do some research instead and have a version where you don't get the moth or any transport. Quite fun to try it all with just the seaglide and everything in random locations.

Re: Going forward - beyond Below Zero
7. A "snap" feature to align things like wall lockers. It triggers my OCD to build lockers out of alignment next to each other!
There is mod for this:
Subnautica + BelowZero:
Google:
SnapBuilder - Snap-to-Grid for Subnautica
Would've posted links but I have to be around for a little while longer before I can post links...
