bioluminescent floor

I want to see deep areas where it is dark and then it starts getting brighter (e.g. below 500 ft) from down below. It should be nearly as bright as being within 50-100 meters from the surface during the day.

It would also be good if the light could be in some color other than blue - perhaps green or yellow. I know it isn't scientific, but perhaps you can explain it away by chemicals/microbes in the water at that depth which absorb blue light and emit other light.

Huge bioluminescent jellyfish that can light up a massive area would be good. Especially if we had a way to capture, transport and put them in pens near our base for ambient light in deeper regions. The smaller variants could be hunted and used for ingredients for crafted undersea light sources also. Imagine floodlights around your base that can light up the sea bed for miles in an otherwise pitch black environment.

    I'd love to see that!
