It would help matters greatly if you all would follow the format of the pinned post regarding bugs. The devs need to know if you're on the stable build or an experimental build, and the build #.

Why do y'all keep necroing threads? As the devs have stated, no further content will be added to this game. It's finished.
-
That was impressive! Also, good to see you're just as hilarious on Youtube as you are here.

I can verify as of last night that that behavior is NOT normal for Sea Dragon Leviathans any more. (RIP to my first real hardcore game.)

I was in EA for Subnautica, I'm avoiding spoilers, BUT I also want to be in EA for <0.

I would love it if base corridors could be angled up or down, say at 30 degrees. Being able to build an elevator shaft (as well as an elevator, duh) would be neat. I view ladders as they are currently handled (not including the ones in the Moonpoo…

They just want the Atlas submarine. As we all know by now: not gonna happen. -

It took years to finish the game-- that's why this section is here. Now that the game is finished, I think this section should probably be archived. Too many people are getting their hopes up. -
This is the second time this has been suggested, actually. As it was then, the answer is still that if you have a handheld drill, then there's almost no reason to build the exosuit. That, and the fact that no new content is going to be added to th…

You need to update out of the "game preview" (how do you even have that? Are you a lost time traveler from 2015?) because some of these suggestions are already in effect (Crab Claw Kelp is indeed scannable). Also, as the devs have stated, repeated…

I got this damn thing just now, too, when I was working on a fairly long post, and it ATE MY DAMN DRAFT. It appears, and ellipses appear within it. I think it's supposed to be for notifications, but I'm guessing either uBlock Origin or NoScript ha…

I knew almost none of this. Thanks for sharing! For my part I'm just gonna choose to believe the basic Alterra environmental suit handles or at least mitigates all that.

You don't have to necro a thread if you want to comment. Stable build is already on #61056 so it's safe to say this issue has been resolved. -
I see that in addition to a monster of a rig, you have a 2080ti. These cards have been experiencing hardware-level issues and outright dying, so the problem may be there. I would test this with a different video card if you have one available.
-
Additionally, please follow the instructions on the pinned post about whether you're playing Stable or Experimental, and if the latter, which version#.

Although I can't tell anything from that screenshot, I can tell you that that'll happen if you're standing too far away.

So basically, NMS is releasing a Subnautica mod for their game, only without any story. That's just ass.

For the most part, they aren't. The location and quantities of fragments inside the LP17 wreck, for example, will vary a bit (except for the teensy Prawn Suit fragments), but the kinds of fragments will always remain the same. I… -

Oopsie! That's why I should read all the comments before commenting...

There is a surfeit of drill arms around the Grand Reef wreck pictured here:@elfcrisis Yikes, that is game-breakingly bad. When I was having trouble with the infinite black bubbles, I had also noticed that in one of particular side cave of a bi…So... does this mean the bug has been fixed, or that clearing the cellcache can only fix certain areas?Necromancers abound. Fitting for this time of year, I suppose...
Can you post some screenshots? Outside as well as inside the base would be helpful. These are good suggestions for a different game. As the devs have explained, this game is finished.(Quote)
You need to state whether you're playing in Experimental or Stable (and if Experimental, the version#) before anyone can begin to help you with this.(Quote)
I reverted to Stable because of a different issue (endless black bubbles that caused hardcore CPU/iGPU thrashing), so I can't help you with this, but I can tell you the version# will be on the (ahem) splash screen.
