Craig Hive giving more health and therefore allows players to get away with some mistakes is however my prefered hive to go. I find commanding marines quite easy if both teams consist of rookies. You can med them and give them waypoints so they know where to go. They even asked me for orders after the order was complete.

You could intorduce super weapons for pub and competitive mod could disable it. Also make concede fun in pub:
