OP delivers! -
The description of Moultano's formula sounds rather good, but the AFK player can be a slight concern. This is why NS2 needs to automatically ready-room players after idle time, then kick for further idle time as a vanilla feature, not with a mod.

I concur Inter, Win:Lose is a better ratio to work with than K:D.

That's what I suspected, thanks.

Yes this is a 5 month bump, but I'd like to be able to blacklist servers running broken/unwanted plug-ins. -

Nice to see a huge effort made on one of my favourite NS1 maps. I do have a query though, which I've asked both previous port attempts.
(Quote) Looks like I'm already subscribed to it on the workshop. Will look forward to playing this. You shouldn't really rely on the Windows built-in. All this does is defragment file contents with no specific ordering as to how these files then get laid out on the disk. You can get better performance from an alternative disk defragmenter, and usu…Multi-monitor here, tip for you chaps on Windows 7 or 8:
Hold the Windows key (that flag between CTRL and ALT) then press P. Win+P will give you a quick popup in which you can enable/disable multiple monitors.

They are a tad outdated mind for the current NS2, would you mind updating them? in Command Cheat/Crib/Reference Sheets Comment by Adambean December 2013Ah I thought it might have been. I did notice that cool chatbox, though it is only available on a select few servers.(Quote) I've not been disappointed with an update so far, and effort much appreciated my good sirs. Fair doos I suck at this game but I still enjoy it more than most other games I've played. in Where are my bugfixes!? - Natural Selection 2 Comment by Adambean September 2013(Quote) Thanks for doing this
Yep, it will certainly improve stability. Increasing the GPU volts will do the same but probably shouldn't be recommended to the general public as it'll increase heat, can shorten product life, and also kill the GPU if done stupidly. It'll be because the card is factory overclocked, and the voltage wasn't high enough to provide enough energy for stable operation at higher frequencies. The same rule applies to the CPU too, only that your computer completely freezes/crashes instea…Increasing the GPU volts from 1.037 to 1.087 appears to have somewhat fixed this. Upping by 0.06V (to 1.097) didn't appear possible via nVidia inspector.
Today during the intense heat (lol) in the UK I'm trying again as it's currently 31…Meh, the GPU temperatures hardly rise a few degrees during NS2 play. The GPU consumption never hits 100% in NS2 though so there isn't any reason for it to.
On a more related note in Clicking "off game" and switching out of view Comment by Adambean July 2013No problem. Unfortunately updating drivers didn't help entirely. Just had a click-out on the exact moment of destroying an exosuit marine. (I was a skulk biting it with a fade) Literally the instant it went -boom- NS2's window focus was lost.

That could have just been a coincidence with the builds that were coming out at the time though.Doesn't appear to be VNC/RDP causing this. I ran NS2 and got in a ready room, then had one of my other computers VNC and RDP to it.
I'll keep an eye on the clock when this next happens and be sure to check out the event log.Bumping because this issue has come back since build 249, and is very frequent. (5+ times a round)
