Lamest Combat-strats

<div class="IPBDescription">Xenocamping and more...</div> I'll start with the Strat i hate most: Alien Xenocamping. Get cloaking. hive 2 and 3 abilities and keep on going BOOM. What i dislike most is some ppl don't even bother to try sneaking into Marine Start and attacking the commchair, they just want the "most-kills-with-one-boom-award". IMHO the lamest Tactic in CO.
For Rines I'd say it is the "everyone-grab-a-GL-tactic". This isn't just stupid for the aliens but for your teammates who haven't got one as well, cause you don't see shish kebab when there is explosions and screenshaking everywhere.
Any other suggestions?

yes gl is pretty lame. but that has been discussed to death already.

If marines are clever enough they can prevent xenocide going off - so deal with it. If the skulk is cloaking "waste" your points on getting scan. Bet a bigger gun, shoot em before they get to you - there are so many ways to combat it that it can't be lame. If you wont spend your points on scan then its your own problem - which brings me on to the lamest tactic in CO.
People just dont give a damn about the team - "We need welders!!!" - so someone else will get one, I dont need to waste a point....same with scan. It ruins the game really, and its sad that its the same people that are massively helping the team every game. Therefore the lamest tactic is self preservation.

effective xeno rushes take TEAMWORK, as one xenocide won't to much unless you are all hurt, effective GL spam also takes teamwork, as we all know the reload time isn't the quickest so people need to cover the GLer. Also it becomes a trivial matter of dodging 4 grenades, then anihilating When you encounter webs, get a welder [you should have one if you ever weld the comm chair or teamates] and suddenly the webs aren't a problem.

Anyway. Xeno and GL spam is definitely the most annoying. However, I tend to go xeno skulk if I know there are people on my team going to go onos/fade/etc. Going xeno skulk keeps the marines busy, not allowing them to level up so quick, while the rest of the alien team can level up and destory the rines. Yeah, xeno is cheap, but so is GL spam, so I think it all evens out.
The worst CO games are when the entire alien team decides to go SUPER SKULK thinking it's SO GREAT. Then they realize skulk is garbage against 3 HA and JPs. But what do you expect? In my opnion, CO brings out the more rambo-style and I WANT KILLS" style of players. From experience, I know for a fact that my friend has only now started playing NS (he's in CAL-im for CS) and doesn't care for old-school NS, only for CO.

Same thing with the GL: Some guys REALLY know how to use it, sadly most DON'T and keep spamming and spamming and that's pointless imho.
As for spawncamping, you <i>need</i> to leave the CC alone for a minute or so, until your whole team has spawned and made its way to marine start - otherwise you'll be picked off from the chair. It sucks, but getting outplayed always sucks.
The thing that bothers me about combat is that any decent alien team with 2-3 gorges will probably live long enough to get hordes of onos and win. But I haven't reached an iron-clad conclusion there yet, so.
Lerks have a hella trouble against GL's when you are playing 10v10 or more
Ditto. A single player willing to go gorge and get web pretty much guarantees an alien win. God forbid you get more than one.
