    They look good, but the arms are a little blocky. Just pointing that out. It could be the renderer doing that though.

    But still, I like what you do with these models <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Looking good.

    As mentioned in IRC, I'd tweak the kneepads a bit so they stand out some (same with the vest) and model in the LBE belt.

    And, as mentioned, looks a little blocky in some places. Other than that, just skin issues. The face isn't bad, but something seems off. I dunno if it's just the renders or not. The folded up sleeves seem to draw the eye too, could use some definition

    Nice camouflage as always (although the symmetry looks a bit strange to me).

    Still good for a work in progress. Keep workin on it!

    If you really want realism, the African-American skin his lips are way too skinny. Being Half African-American, and having African-American friends (Im trying to be politically correct) the lips should be fuller, and overall bigger. Other than that good job.

    nice work, hope you stick around here again

    some suggestions on the face tho
    make the nose less fat and move the eyes somewhat further from the center

    other than that the face looks very realistic

    what? are you joking... marines where different camo dependant on the environment, i've seen plenty of varieties in one wardrobe (mine), in recent years the most widely used was desert dpm... at least i think americans use the same as us brits

    Why would he put a british helmet on a US style marine? Don't spam up the thread with useless stuff like that.
  • CoolCookieCooksCoolCookieCooks Pretty Girl Join Date: 2003-05-18 Member: 16446Members, NS1 Playtester, Contributor, Constellation
    brig, ive noticed this on all the arms of your models, you need to connect the skin together where it joins, so it can loop rather than have an enormous line where the skin ends

    it's a form of camoflage, a specific european pattern thats a bit ick...

    heres a woodland version
    <img src='http://www.worlduniformkeith.com/image/0070.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

    and heres my suggestion... forest/jungle dpm... 90% more effective

    Marpat = New Digital US Marine camoflauge

    MARPAT for the US marines is the UNIVERSAL name for it, there are DIFFERENT types of the fatigue, i.e Urban, Woodland, AND Desert,
    2 Owen, the U.S does NOT use the same Desert camo as the U.K, ours is 3 Color

    (brig plz dont slap me) but i did a quick reskin of one in...erm...woodland marpat

    That reskin reminds me of a Rez Sprite released a while ago, and an other think i'm not gonna metion... >_>

    The best thing about this model must be the face-texture, the nose seems a bit large/wide tough. Other than that it is great.

    I'm glad you decided to work on these again. 2 things stand out the most to me now. the shoulders slant too much and the **** can't be 1 point...not if you want decent walk/run animations, that is.
