And marines
Can the command place buildings in places where a marine cant see ? Like if he put one near a hive and marines were at the spawn would it stay there untill untill a marine reach's there and starts building or would it just not be placed.

How does the Infantry Portal look like ?
Is it the same model as the Phase Gate ?
Never found any screen whith it...
What happens when an Onos jumps from some height and falls down on a marine? Will he become a pancake or will the marine take the onos on a horseback?
CMEast: when a building dies it disappears completely. No pieces of scrap metal (or alien building gibs) left over or anything, its just gone.
Paladin: No, they are seperate models with seperate particle effects.
This is a phase gate. Notice the green particles and the added light that's always on.
Can't find a decent pic of the Infantry portal, but its different. Much smaller, and the particle effect is only on when somebody spawns in, not on all the time like the phase gate.
Lazarus: I'm not 100% sure on this since I don't usually go Onos myself, but normally he just stands on the head of the marine like in normal half-life, no crushing damage or anything. But if he is currently using charge, then yes he will crush the marine. Again I say, this is how I *think* it happens, but I am not sure. Can somebody who plays Onos a lot verify this?
so nodes are immortal and teams are always guarenteed(wrong spelling) resources?
node = in map, spews out resources. indestructible, but can use up all resources inside.
tower = team builds ON a node, to capure its resources. like getting oil in warcraft 2. this can be killed by the enemy...

I can answer the others
Buildings do have a death animation, they also have a nice screaming sound
Buildings use RP as soon as they are put down, not once they are built. This means you cant just drop loads of buildings and then build the ones thatll be useful. Or block up areas with them.
AFAIK a resource node does not regenerate. Once its gone its gone.
this was in very very briefly for one build as a "lets see what happens" change, but it was decided to be an unwise choice and was changed back.
