    I don't own a PS2, and the demo won't run on my comp. I double click the shortcut and nothing happens.

    I played the PS2 version at a guy down the street's house.  It's pretty nifty, but not all that different from the first game.   I like the non-linearity of the gameplay though... thinking it would be much more fun on a mouse and keyboard.   <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->

    tycho: check the error log, if it says something about eax.dll (or if you're running an older sound blaster card, like the 16 PCI for example) you need to add this to the end of the hitman2.ini file: EAXDisable

    check their site, it helped me when mine wouldn't work.



    @ ginger: I quite agree, it IS an awesome game. I just finished assassinating the software programmer and his twin, it's a three-mission thingamadooby.

    Hitman 1 ruled, (It had a great physics engine) sniping felt satisfying and it was hard as nails, Kinda like flashpoint

    i got the pc and beat it once now doing it again on silent assassin (NO KILLS except the target and no being spotted, etc. very hard) u get extra guns, silenced ballers, sawed off, m4

    Once you get close enough to the castle you can let people see you without it instantly failing the mission (your objectives will update, you'll know when it's ok... still not a good idea to get spotted, though). As long as you don't get a "Nearby Guards Have Been Alarmed" Warning then you're OK. My advice is to kill the first guy you see, take his uniform, then don't let ANY of the other patrolling guards see you... the uniform will keep you safe from the snipers. If you don't have the uniform (as I didn't when I first played the mission) the snipers will rip you a new one, it's nearly impossible to both dodge their fire and sneak past the guys on foot.

    Good luck! The next mission is easier.

    i was close to doing that mission but underground i was right near the end and a van hit me and i died!! all i had to do is climb out and get past a sniper!

    My advice for the one you're on now, then, (since my previous advice applied only to the next one) is to get a uniform so snipers won't kill you, and then try to avoid using the tunnels as much as possible. There're just too many guards all over the place in those tunnels for them to be really worthwhile. Sounds like you got pretty close to the end, though. Watch out for the trucks... hehehe.

    There's no way to get all three of them through each mission, they're all rifle-sized weapons and you can only carry one of those at a time.

    lies! I did exactly this something like 10 times and I never ever got past the snipers, they saw through me every single friggin time! Yes I was holding the MP5 SD too. very frustrating :/

    Wow. Ok then, I guess getting a uniform doesn't work. I had assumed it would (I managed to get past everything without killing anyone), and obviously incorrectly so. Dodging sniper bullets = SUPER hard. Dodging sniper bullets while evading patrolling guards = next to impossible. Just think about what you'd do if you were against a real-life sniper, and it should serve you alright for hitman. Vary your running speed and direction at every moment. If you run in the same direction or at the same speed for any time over a VERY short one, you're screwed.

    the snipers are easy but i keep getting spotted in one of THEIR uniforms and i have no idea why!you dont need to dogde the sniper bulits all you need to do is hide behide each tree as you go along OR kill the sniper before he sees you <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> - and sbv i dont want to use that site!

    I figured it out! If you stick to the very very back of the map then you're out of the sniper's range, and can then proceed to go to the castle and kill everyone like a crazy madman.

    Well I heard you get special stuff when you actually play the good guy and DON'T violently murder everything that moves. So I decided to get Silent Assassin on the one map where you're in the big corporate building (the first one of the three missions). Woot, akimbo SILENCED ballers! That'll make my murdering extra crispy! So I thought to myself "self, I wonder what other goodies you get for using that 'discresion' thing." So I got Silent Assassin again on the next mission, and didn't get crap! >:( Are there no more candy prizes?

    On the hospital map I just went on a rampage as my form of vengence. Rack up the body count to 100 or so. :P
