<div class="IPBDescription">let the flaming commence</div> ok steam is nice yea its got a nice interface yes it keeps hacker out for 5 mins vevery day before they break the latest of seirras security measures, now thats all the good thing about steam but i have a slight dislike for it why becouse, for some reason i dont feel THAT EVERY TIME THE DMAN THING CRASHES THE ONLY THING THAT WILL FIX IT IS TO DELATRE NEARLY EVRY FILE IN ITS ROOT FOLDER. Now some of you can take this some of you DL at an amzing rate but for sons of **** like me whop live in the middle of nowere broadband is not an option and im left with a 56k that means every time i have to fix steam it takes an entire day and a half to fix and even then its not gureinteed to work. Hay iv seen all that pro steam badges flating around and es now your sound dousent go off and yes you can actuely DL a map within the 30 min map time. Won worked won had bugs won had hackers but also won had alot of 56k that could actuely play without ending up doing the robot becous eof the amount of lag, yes i have steam working now (2 days for two days its the longest its worked for) and i gota admit NS. beta 3 would be fun if it werent for the fact that i wlak round a courner and see a skulk doing a wiered dance befoire manging to fly 50 yards and then 5 seconds later for the simple message of dead to appear. So all im aksing is at least relase a won freindly v of NS beta becouse if you dont im going to go crazy and invent my own steam system which i suspect will be hammering a empty beer can with whistle selotaped to it into my computer motherboared, its more lightly to work. ahhhhhhhh now thats out the way any one ever play warcraft 3? well it rules dont it come viset me on channel Clan xCRx.

oh yea and if any one can tell me how to fix this problem id be greatful as my CS clan jsut recently moved to 1.6 and bought a server and i kinda need to entre the clan matches, the major problem is that the steam.dll file keeps breaking and yes i have to delate everything no i cant save the files that i DL i have to DL every thing again or it wont work gaaaa plz make CS CZ have a stable set up for steam.

Instead of d/l the file everytime, why not just save it to your computer and then reinstall it?

i actuely emailed seirra and they replied with a sturn we aplogise for the inconvencie and it was a well written letter witha pretty plz at the bottem, but heck im wondeirng if im the only miss guided soul who having to problem, personel like i said WON worked steam for 95% dousent and well for that 5% its a heck of a problem as i can see from the steam forrum lol there taking alot of flaming down there.

I know this isn't helping AT ALL, but PLEASE attempt to spell even remotely correctly. Periods at the ends of sentences help, and capitalization is a god.
I can understand that you aren't american OR british, but could you please try to put a little more time into your post and read over it? Thanks.

You're probably not the only one who has had problems with Steam, but this doesn't mean you can expect to find answers from here rather than Steam's own forums. We know there's a lot of whiny teenangsters there distracting everyone. But people get <i>answers</i> there. Sooner or later all you'll get here is the same "what are you talking about, Steam is great!" you'd find in Steam's forums, only here it'll be <i>without</i> any hope of Valve-employed tech support personell finding and responding to the thread.

Locked for the same reasons as so many others: we aren't Steam.
