I was playing ns a few days ago and spotted a waterfall in one of the maps, I'm not sure bout the map name as I'v been playing for just over a week, but how was it done? As I want to put it in a map I'm making.
I suppose the question I should be asking is, how do I animate a texture? I've worked out that I just make an ambient_generic of the water sound, make the water a bit transparent, well I can do all of it except animate the texture, how?
Well... Hmmm.. How could I say this without it sounding like a flame. Next time use the Mapping Help and Troubleshooting forum, and before posting use google.

Edit: Welcome to the forums.
thank you so much though
Use the water texture and make it a little transparent.
I think you have to uncheck a box if you dont want the player to be pushed out of the way by the water. Then you set the correct angle and speed.
