<div class="IPBDescription">Have question, very importent to me</div>1 i have read the FAQ and it did say 1.1.10 er something halflife required, but dosnt say anything about retail CS
2 my problim
I can NOT absalutly play any HALF-lIFE or HL mods online because when i go to connect or create game it says, "Your CD key cannot be used on the VALVe system" and then disconnects.
How do i fix this? i havent emailed them but if its a quike fix please tell me, otherwise ill email them
But, Will NS be able to install with CS retail?
if this cant be fixed, and its not compatible with CS retail, ill probly go kill myself because i've been waiting for a long, long time for this mod to come out and its all in have left in this world

NS is perfectly compatible with CS Retail, at least as far as I know.
2) NS will work with CS Retail.
3) If you're going to go buy a valve game, go get HL. It comes with CS for free (free DL!<!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->, and is one of the best single player games released in the last FOUR YEARS.
and uhh, my Blue shift CD key is fake but that only cuz i couldent find my blueshift case, but my HL cd key is all around my office, on pictures on shelfs, never wanna loosem again

You can get HL boxed with CS, TFC, Blue Shift, and Opposing Force for only $30 nowadays. Damn good deal, if you ask me.

As everyone says, your key has been banned which means that won has your key in its database as disallowed, so when you try to connect using HL it sees this and stops the connection. It's got nothing to do with whether someone else is using it or not.
A key-gen would be illegal, because theres a chance that you could get an in use key (Unlikly, but possible) and then whats happened to you would happen to them.
As people said, you need to buy a new copy of half life etc. Think about it. If your skint then spend a saturday afternoon washing cars. It's that cheap these days.
Oh, and for my last bit of advice, get some new friends.
He means CS retail, which is a standalone product.

You can run mods off of CS retail. You just need to be a 1337 h4x0r (i.e., copy a few files to a certain location)
It's quite easy in fact. Sort of like microwaving a burrito, but less strenous. And less tasty.

Is this true? I'd like to verify this cause I want to play my brother. And do you have to use regedit? Couldn't you just reinstall and enter the other key?
