Hello all. Recently I made a Combat map that I wanted to show to my friend. However, whenever I made a server using "Create Server," he could never find my game in the server lists. He tried to make a server as well and I could not see his game on the server lists. We made sure not to have LAN checked in the box under Options, but still can't find a way to create an internet server that we could join.
Does anyone know why this is happened and if there is a way to solve this very annoying problem? Thanks in advance.

After attempting, my friend also added that he got the following error: "Invalid Steam User ID ticket."
Any help is very much appreciated so I can continue work on my map. Thanks.
However, does anyone know how I can go about changing the name from "Natural Selection 3.0" to something like "CousinPhil's Cool NS Server?"

Change the "hostname" field in your listenserver.cfg file (or server.cfg if you change to a dedicated server)
