Looking for a banner.

Hello everybody. I run a small site, <a href="http://www.cofrfps.com," target="_blank">http://www.cofrfps.com,</a> mainly for CoFR members , <a href="http://www.cofr.net" target="_blank">http://www.cofr.net</a> , <a href="http://www.cofrbbs.net" target="_blank">http://www.cofrbbs.net</a> and friends of CoFR.

I would like to display a natural selection banner on the CoFR FPS site. I talked to Flayra about it and he said he would talk to some of the NS artists, but since they may be busy I should ask here.

Looking for a banner aprox. 500 x 75 to display. I would do it myslef, but I don't think I could do this mod justice, so I thought I would ask some of the artists here if they would care to help me out.

I make nothing off of any of the banners I have up, I just support things I think are worth supporting.

Thanks for any help you can give.

    I'd really appreciate it if someone had time to work on this.  It would be a great way to get an influx of mature and possibly experienced (military?) commanders in NS.  :)

    Im assuming your just gonna choose the ones you want out of the ones that get posted.
    I hope so cos i sorta had a go seeing as tho im bored. Hope you dont mind.

    I made 2 similar ones, one alien style and one marine.

    Those are nice, Uncritical.  

    Not sure if it's too late to say this or not, but the text on the right hand side, especially www.natural-selection.org text is really hard to read on the hive version.  

    Man, where is everybody?  We had all those great submissions from people before for the readyroom.org logo, and the wallpapers.  C'mon people, bust out those design skills.

    I am very suprised, in a good way, at the support people offer in this community.

    I know that most communities that pop-up around a mod start of a little like this, but I have not seen one to this extent.

    LOL, they are all waiting to become NatCrackSelects.

    UnCriticals are great. I put those up. If any others come about, fine, if not, thats ok too.

    I can't believe how amazing some of the art is around here. The player generated art and the screen shots are amazing.

    Is it possible to get a player model so I can see what the animations look like? If not thats ok I can wait.

    I doubt it.

    Usually we have an influx of artwork on requests like this.  I was wondering why a banner wasn't ready already.  I'd do something myself, but my MS Paint skills aren't quite up there with most people's Photoshop skills.  So I'll just sit back and watch this space, inserting occassional ooh's and aah's.

    Don't give up just yet, there should be some work inserted here in a couple of days for you to use.

    I wanted something subtle, but I'm now thinking that perhaps this is a little <i>too</i> subtle. It <i>is</i> an advertisement, after all! Oh well.

    <b>Edit:</b> Hmm, I think I might have misunderstood this... Is it indeed an advertising banner? Or is it a title banner for the top of the NS section of your site? I doubt mine would work as a title in its current form. Uh oh.

    Heres my little entry, its no where near as good as the Amazing Fam's and Batt's but I tried.

    WTF I cant get rid of the black and make it transparent??? it just goes white? wtf is going on.

    Ghetto, to do a transparancy flatten all the layers except for the backround. Once this is done ctrl-click the "new" layer. Once you have the selection click the channels tab and press delete, making the selected area white. After that go back to your layer and click the new channel on, creating a mask. Once thats done save it as a .gif.
