The game is expected to be available at retail stores worldwide on March 15.

So the wait is over! I have like most UT lovers played the demo, and I'm looking forward to playing the full version. Now I'll have something to play apart from NS while waiting for HL2

can't wait to play the full game!
is the ion painter in ut2k4
However it's great fun to play a 32 bot game in Onslaught, then cheat to get an Ion Painter with 999 rounds, enable godmode and have some fun

Sounds like the "Ion Painter" from UT2K3. At first I fired this I was like "this is freaking ****" then I waited a few seconds and a HUGE beam incinerated everything within 50ft of where I fired it. Whoa.
I get 6 discs (CD-ROM's) which is going to make the install
require alittle bit more effort.... should have got the 1 DVD ROM
but 6 discs are ALWAYS better than 1... maybe
95 maps on install apparently. :-D
I'll see you guys on the battlefield
Good old Play.com (?17.99)
I know I've probably only got a year to make something before UT2kx moves onto the next incarnation but it reportedly comes with hours of video tutorial footage on everything mod related from modelling to coding plus a special version of softimage (this is the TOP modelling package... it's rated higher than even maya in the industry; production IG uses it, the people who are making the Ghost in the Shell Stand alone complex amongst other things for those who don't know them o.O ).
Needless to say I think that might help =3
I think Epic is deadly serious about taking on ye olde valve for the modding market =o
Ive been playing the crap out of the demo. And then some. I cant wait to get my hands on the full version.
Oh, well, just going to have a late birthday present
Is it really worth buying a game just to mod though? I've already started a HL mod (though I'm loathing the limitations of the engine just about every step of the way) and I'm in two minds to finish first or just jump ship and start afresh on the infinitely friendlier Unreal engine ut2k4 build =/
