Every Server Not Contacting Auth Server?

Problem: Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket (server was unable to contact the authentication server, 31).</i>

This is the error I get every single time I try to enter a server. Didn't happen earlier today. Funny, I see the servers in the browser.

This is going on in TFC, too.

Shut down, wait a minute, restart try again. Hopefully that will connect steam to a new content server. One that isn't being hammered. Failing that wait 24 hours and try again.

I've found you can fix this by logging out of steam and re-logging in.

Dang, I had the same problem, I tried rebooting and exiting steam but not until I "exit and log out" of steam and reentered my password did it work, glad I came to the tech support forums!
