Actually I wouldn't nessesarly trust just the clan recruitment forum. Most of the top clans are invite aren't exactly... vocal in that area of the forums when they are looking for a member or two.

Still there are plenty of clans that would take you in, no matter your skill level.

Sometimes you have to start small, and then work your way up, for example I was in 3 clans before I joined sYn. The trick to moving up is learning everytime you make a mistake, the more/faster you learn, the quicker you improve. I know this seems like common sense but I still see even some veteran players make the same mistakes over and over again. Oh yeah, another thing, NEVER get intimidated, always try to play your best, if you don't think that you can win, don't play. A lot clans when they go up against teams like Envy and dn get slaughtered because they have no confidence.

Learn quickly, and stay confident.

How come everyone <b>needs</b> to be in a clan with more than 1 member?

It's tough starting a clan from scratch without a dedicated server... :\
