    I think they're looking ok, I particularly like the alien ones, but I'll just have to try them and see how they feel ingame <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Personally I already use a huge xhair, (in my enhancement pack) aslong as its fairly transparent then it doesn't matter, with a game like ns all you care about his hitting the creature, the xhair is suppoed to tell you when you can hit anything, so a bigger crosshair tends to encompass you accuracy cone.

    (as a side note an even bigger xhair allows you to track your targets better, ie, shows you when to fire, so the bullets are already rolling when they reach your line of fire)

    Just remember:

    "The smaller you aim, the smaller you miss"

    Or something like that <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Caution: require mucking about in the registry if you're afraid of that sort of thing.

    i run ns at 1600x800 in direct3d and the HL-default crosshairs look like 3 tiny pixels

    that's a strange resolution..

    Everything would be really, really wide. Maybe if you have one of those Apple CinemaDisplays or something it'd work..

    Just drag it into the recycle bin.

    HOLY THREADOMANCY BATMAN!

    Don't find them too big, they're alright for me. But that's because I play in a higher resolution so that won't change a thing.

    That's because every vet has customized them without making a fuss about it.

    Mirage-x, welcome to the forums. If you'd like to suggest a new smaller crosshair size, please do so in our Ideas & Suggestions forums. Constructively.

    Since I haven't tried the abovementioned demo, I'll have to improvise on the spike shooting sound. Ka<i>thunk</i>.
