Things I Wonder about Flayra: 1) Is he a good comm? 2) What's his voice like? 3) If he joined aliens when I was comming veil or origin, would I win, or would I get killed by the skill-stack that would be pretty much inevitable?
Flayra is an average player. To the best of my knowledge he is a better alien than marine. His main advantage over you is that he knows exactly how the game operates because well... he made it. Not nessesarly tatics wise, but as far as strategy goes he will know very well.
His buddy Max is a good marine, and I remember during the beta he was pretty good with a shotgun.
Flayra's voice sounds like any guy at 30 years old. He is for the most part a very friendly person.
I don't think people skill stack intentionally just to be on Flayra's team. If you wanna talk with him, he would probably prefer to talk with you in the readyroom.

I've played with Flay a few times in private beta. He's not the best player (feh, neither am I) but he has fun playing the game, and is generally the cool dude.

Hey, I'm sorry man, it's just that you worked on Origin and all, and that map is wicked bad. In terms of atmosphere and visuals, I think it's better than any other map. I've only played with joev a couple of times, every time on the jarhedz servers, wich is quite logical, since he jarhedz is his site.
I would like to play with flayra a game, but who doesn't? SO I thought, if I see him I'll greet him and leave him on his own, because I think he might not like all this attention all the time. If I meet one of the admins like talesin or the coffie guy monsieurevil on a sevrer, I'll make 'em pay for killing one of my posts.

If you like to hear his voice, you can always re-install 1.04 and watch the replays of the US-vs-EU-game. he's commenting the game as a spectator (although I find it quite rediculous to watch that just to listen to his voice...)
During the 1.1 beta he was online very often, quite communicative and also very patient with questions, a very nice guy. It's good to have someone like him as a developer.
When you read any of his posts, you can see that he's always extremely diplomatic and polite, trying to please everyone, this is quite represantative for what I've got to know about him

Heh. Actually I do play a lot more NS then I do most other games, but I don't have much time for games at all these days. Sometimes I go crazy and I'll play for like 6 hours in a day and then I won't play for a week or two.
I almost always play as "Flayra" and yes, I'm only average. I've never played with a NS dev unluckly, playing since 1.0 Look at my reg time.(Edit, note by I registered late on forums, but I've been playing long enough and remember 1.0 comm tatics and helped survive a game) I remember when lerks had spikes And when marines weld onos to death. I have luckly met one of the most important Svencoop staff in a game... And it was the real one(verification message) Wonder if I'll get lucky in NS one day
If I ever will play with Flayra, i wouldn't ask enything of him or bother of him eny way's, There are developers for games, and im shure many of them like to relax and go look what kind of people actually play the creation. Thought i aren't so Frequent playing NS novadays. Shure ya can ask 1 question, but asking further would be worth of a interview..
