i just dl this game bc my friend told me it was good stuff. WRONG! the idea is ok but the programming was bad. game was so dark i couldnt even see my crosshair...and i tried hangeing the brightness but no, u cant. i ended up getting killed bc i cant see ****. even avp 1 and 2 had way better visions to help against squinting gayness. even when i tried learning it sucked bc all of these hardcore geeks treat u like dirt. i had some geek admin seriously screaming at me cause i stacked the teams? here i am playing for my first time trying to learn the basics, and this kid is calling me ****,stupid,blahblahblah just bad mouthing me." GO ALIENS OR IM GONNA BOOT U" i said i dont know how to use aliens u stupid f***. "I DONT CARE BLAH BLAH YOUR ****" i said....go f*** yourself u sad little nerd, boot me please, i rather not play this game with people like u, just makes me ****. and it wasnt just him. people did that to other people. so in all 5/10 (go play avp2)
-fix the brightness so we can see the crosshair
-fix the hitboxes

    I feel your pain - I had to play NS on a crappy monitor once, and I couldn't see a damn thing.

    Dr.Snidely prescribes <a href='http://www.entechtaiwan.net/ps.htm' target='_blank'>Powerstrip</a> for you. Also, although application of NS may sting at first, it's good once you get over the initial hurdles. Try and keep an open mind. :D

    Wait, so you hate a game because of a hardware problem and because of one retarded admin??

    Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions. The darkness has nothing to do with the game, thats just your hardware. And there are lots of stupid abusive admins... you just stay away from those servers and find good ones.

    Oh dear. Really bad luck having such an awful experience during your first time playing NS. I really hope you keep at it, as I am certain that you will eventually like it - I fail to see any reason for anyone not liking NS, except for these kind of incidents with idiots who attempt to make life hell for new players.

    Oh come on, do you guys have nothing better to do than creating new forum accounts and start flame-bite-topics? Go read a good book or watch a movie or (oh my god) go outside.

    If you have something to complain about, do so in a proper way. If you think other games are better, fine, go play them and don't bother us. If you think the programming is bad, fine, come again if you have something to show us and we can discuss good programming and project management. Just please stop posting random gibberish.

    Cool down.

    If you have trouble with the visibility, check the Tech Support forum first. If you have issues with a server admin, I'd suggest checking another server.
