Proxy Server

Here is my problem, I have a desktop and a notebook computer. I live in a dorm that only lets you use one comp loged in at a time. In my desktop I have 2 NICs and I have a dedicated server on my notebook. I have shared my internet connection through my desktop but I wanted to be able to have people play on my server. Is there any way to get steam to tunnel through my desktop so that my notebook server shows on the internet?

Probably not, most places block ports, meaning you cant listen for a connection.. meaning no hosting a server,
I'd recommend getting a router and using that to share the connection

not exactly a proxy, more like a port replicator. When someone puts my desktop ip in for a server with a set port it will jump to my notebook. As for the router, I have one but it is off for repairs and no telling how long that will take.
