If its anounced today sometime, i guess monday tuesday. if its anounced sunday, i guess wednsday or thursday and soforth

but anyone wanna take anouther guess on NS's release date?

    first it has to go GOLD, and after that a WEEK of pr and on the last day of the pr blitz THEN it's released.

    Ok.. I and several other people have explained this so many times...

    Here is what will happen:

    Flayra will anounce that the NS code has gone gold.

    There will then be 4-5 days of PR involving a trailer, news on just about every HL news site etc.  The server operators will recieve the server-side code about halfway through this.  At the end of the week, the client-side code will become available for download.

    The end.

    I belive that you are wrong......


    The server release is supposed to be during the PR blitz and the clien is supposed to comeout on the final (or day after the final day) of the PR blitz.

    So heres what I think,

    The code is going to go gold, then 4-5 days of PR and on the 3rd or 4th day the server release will be advable, and on day 4-6 (depends on how long the PR is and if its the day after or not) the client release will be spammed on download places alover the net. <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

    the pr blitz is 1 WEEK long (7 days)

    so we get 5 days of PR pwnage, then day 6 has server release and day 7 (could be 8 tho) has the actual client release!

    You know, the "whenisitcomingout!whenisitcomingout!whenisitcomingout!whenisitcomingout!" that's been going on around here is exactly the reason that by the age of 12 I was sleeping in late on Christmas Day just so that my annoying siblings would have to wait to open presents.

    I think Flayra and Co. should declare themselves on vacation tomorrow, and state that all NS developement is on hold until they get back.
