actually, now that i look at it in comparision to fam's image, hes right. it just seems "bland" with those plain lights you use! compared to lets say most official NS maps...plus not dark enough 2 hide in those corners!

Yes that would look a great deal better. The best way to aciave that out be to use lihgt_spots that shine on the areas that the lights themselves shine on.
I think it's looking good.. if anything the textures at the hive room fade in rather quickly from the uninfested area next to it ( going to the hive) ..maybe make it more gradual..
er... thats about it really..
Bit more contrast would be good, a quick way to do it might be to try altering your env_gamma?
