i wasnt aware of the fact that ns resizes all mapps that are greater than 256
i was allways wondering y my models looked so blury ingame
SOLUTION:::::
add this line
<span style='font-size:19pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:red'><span style='font-family:Impact'>gl_max_size "512"</span></span></span>
to your autoexec.cfg found in you ns folder
c:\games\hl\ns
really its worth the change.

if you can not find the autoexec.cfg make a new one
Create a new file called <b>userconfig.cfg</b> and add everything in there.
Another option is to create a new file called <b>autoexec.cfg</b> and add it in there. Both of the files don't exist on a plain ns install.
<i>remember: userconfig.cfg wont work under won!</i>
and that looks really nice.. i didn't know your models were using 512 res textures !
gl_max_size "512"
dont forget the "
good question. does anyone have the answer to that?
enter line
gl_max_size "512"
save as : autoexec.cfg
copy tp your ns folder
and to answer the question 1 no you dont need anythign
2.no you shouldnt copy your config.cfg
add this line
<span style='font-size:19pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:red'><span style='font-family:Impact'>gl_max_size "512"</span></span></span>
