New hl patch

    the new valve patch announcement occured a couple of days ago. Other than tfc, there will be new releases of CS as well as support of VAC for all HL mods. PHL still has the news if u go through their archives.

    hmm could it be that NS will be released after the valve patch?

    possible, because i think they have to bring out a new version when the hl patch is out

    I remember back in TF 2.8 they tried telepads.  It was sick - an Engineer builds one in his own spawn room, then accompanies a strike team into the enemy base and builds another in the enemy flagroom.

    take flag.
    hop thru gate.
    cap.
    hop back thru gate.

    Repeat.

    They came out almost immediately.

    I can see teleport pads in a game like Starsiege: Tribes, but in TFC, I dunno. Not like I play it at all.

    they have pads in TFC before? in HL? or are u refering to quake tfc?

    but i'm glad they decided to add somethin to tfc. new updates always make people go back to classic mods and check them out. this always eliminimates the 'bore factor' mods nowadays suffer from.

    I am so going to laugh my arse off when they start showing off TF2 in the near future. Then smack every one of you naysaying jerkstores.

    TFC=Team Fortress Classic for Half-Life
    TF=Team Fortress for Quake, a game can't very well be considered classic the first time it's released.
    TF2=Team Fortress 2, <b>not</b> Team Fortress Classic 2.

    The only problem I have with "new stuff" is that valve seems to think "if it's not broke, fix it anyways", which in turn really messes up people who have developed serious strategies for these games.

    Yea CS was fine and the cs people fixed it and that made it bad.... grrrrrrr, lol what more can be done to regular half-life? must be a tiny patch they are makin that would just make mods easier. Or they might try to like what was posted above "fix what needs no fixing".

    TFC is a rather pathetic attempt at a much better game TF or QTF.

    TFC2 doesnt exist.  It never has, and hopfully, it never will.

    TF2 on the other hand I've been waiting on since HL was even annouced ...
