Ns Freezes At Mapchange

- Athlon XP 1800+
- I honestly have no idea what sound card I have
- GeForce4Ti 4200
- 512MB DDR-RAM
- Windows XP Pro
- OpenGL at 1280 x 1024
- No EAX, WTH is EAX anyway?
- I have retail Half-Life, but I'm using Steam to play.
- Running Beta 3.3
Okay, the problem:
- Everything runs great, until the end of a game. When the mapchanges, the thing in the middle of the screen comes up (sprite that says Natural Selection) with the little "loading" word under it. That's all that happens. My computer freezes at that point, sometimes some NS music skips in the background, sometimes the screen dims slightly before freezing, but it ALWAYS freezes. Once it is frozen, I can't Cntrl+Alt+Del out of NS/Steam. I can't Alt+F4 or Alt+Tab. Actually, I can do all of those, and I get the little hour glass next to the mouse, but nothing ever happens after the hour glass goes away. If I press the windows key, the start menu comes up, but that doesn't really help. I tried uninstalling both Steam and NS and I installed it exactly like it was described on this site, but it still freezes.
- I <i>CAN</i>, if I'm fast, press ESC and quit NS (Not just the server, all of NS, otherwise when I try to rejoin it freezes during the join... *sigh*), then everything is fine when I reopen NS, but that is a HUGE hassle. I have to keep typing "timeleft" to see how much time I have left, and some servers don't support the timeleft thing, so I don't know...

Perhaps I am just too tired, but on the keyword freeze or mapchange I get no useful results. If you could point me to the right direction, that'd be fine.

I have exactly the same problem.
I did a search before I posted, but didnt find any way to resolve it.
DoD, CS etc are fine! It must be a NS bug <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I even uninstalled Steam, HalfLife and all mods completely (Went through the registry too). Then reinstalled everything. No joy with this either.
Drivers have been updated as well.
Any plans to have this looked at by the Devs?

..BRIM - Do you have a 'Shuttle' PC, or an NForce Chipset?
It happend to me too and i dont found that bug elsewhere :X
