Because if we look at acid, that means there is some way which they develop acid in their bodies <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
One theory would be their stomachs though. Since they don't eat (except Onos) they use their stomachs to help for fighting.
Gorges shoots acidic spitwads.
Lerks shoot small spore bubbles that burst on impact.
Fades shoot acid which is contain in a leathery-shell.
Onos eats people (OMG)
Another one would the spikes on the Lerk, Fade and Onos.
Lerk = Spikes
Fades = No use, but they got bigger so WTH?
Onos = Really big spikes, but they resemble tusks more....
