A Way To Bring Back Babblers!

Well ladies and gentalmen i propose that we reinstate babblers. babblers and bile bomb should be fused into ONE amasingly effective and fun skill. Babblers will explode in a bile bomb like manner causeing damage only to buildings. But they can still bite before they die. The explosion damage will be reduced to balance this new skill with its homing abilitys and offencive capabilitys.

The problems this new babblers would solve would be:

1. no one wants to play gorge.

2. gorge as hardly any way of protecting himself or causeing damage (reason for #1)

3.bile bomb being way to effective. 2 ranbo gorges = dead base in 5 seconds.

4. no fun reason to be gorge in combat

5. nothing to combo web with for uber fun!

    No, bile bomb doesn't need a nerf, and no, this wouldn't really make Gorges more fun. People aren't bored by bile bomb, they're bored by the incredibly slow res income inherent in the 2.0 system that makes early-mid game permgorging a mind numbingly slow process.

    Man, they aren't bringing babblers back! They were too much of a CPU hog, and that overpowers the fact that they were cool.

    lol it being a cpu hog is a buncha BS. The bile bomb we have now causes just as much cpu problems as the old babblers. They couldnt think of a good reason to remove bablers so they made that up.

    IMO when you go gorge (in CO) you have to accept some things:

    1) You probably arent gonna actually kill a marine
    2) You sit under the hive and heal it
    3) You run around with your teammates supporting them with health spray and webs.
    4) You bile bomb the CC


    I have found that going fatty is a great way to gain EXP, numbers 2-4 above give you some nice experience, and supporting a wave of onos/fades is a great way to gain passive EXP from their kills as well as taking shots at the CC with bile bomb.

    Healing the hive can be very helpful, one game in co_faceoff, marines were overunning the hive and the team had a hard time keeping them out so I was basically healing the hive non-stop, couple minutes later I saved up 4 points and went onos.

    This is a joke, right?

    Babbler AI was so terrible that it was a bigger insult to be killed by them, than being killed by leap. They did pathetic damage, and they caused unneeded CPU usage.

    Exploding bile bomb babblers would be a major nerf to bile bomb, also. It would severely limit the range and make you unable to hit certain targets. Not to mention the fact that it would make killing stuff a lot slower since you would have to wait for the worthless babbler to walk his way over to the target and explode.

    Big thumbs down on this idea.

    This is not Ideas & Suggestions, so don't post them here.

    Also, Babblers were removed because they did not fit the gamestyle, not out of balancing consideration. They will not come back.
