Something Seems Weird With 3.0

<div class="IPBDescription">less fun</div> I was wondering why i find myself having less fun since 3.0 came out.

Combat is probably a big pat of it, but when i play aliens, i alway must gorge because no one wants to. Probably because little gorgey has benn nerfed to death ( including OCs ).

I find the the res whoring problem is worst now than before ? maybe i just constantly go to bad server but i don't know.....

Anyone has that kinda feeling 3.0 is less fun ? dunno what has changed, me ?

    It may be the sudden influx of noobs who started playing NS after it got steam support. In time they'll probably relies that it's a team game, and maybe even, god willing, stop playing combat <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Once it gets out of beta and all the players get experienced I'm certain it will improve.

    Try picking up "NS only" server, they have usually more teamplay oriented players..

    If you're like me, and always end up spending all your time and resources on the team, it gets dull <i>fast</i>; you're either a gorge or a skulk. Whoop de doo. However, being a marine is still quite fun...

    Excactly, if i dont spend my 25 starting res, i feel guilty.

    But sometime i like to be onos or fade too.

    I agree it's freaking annoying when you spend your starting res on an RT then it gets knifed down cos none will help you save it then 10 minutes later the team still has 1 RT no freaking chambers 1 hive and a fade or 2 that quickly die to the cries of WTH??? or HAX.

    Every single time I start an Alien game, without fail, I badger my teammates to declare a role for the early game. Hive, chambers, Fade/Onos, etc. For the most part if you can get them to agree to something they'll follow through on it; people need to stop assuming that everyone will know what needs doing if nobody says anything. Single people out by name if you have to.

    (personal grudges with certain comms etc)
    anyway..yeah, stick to NS only servers..our clan servers are now divided: 1 co 1 classic only server, and games have improved with 300%.
