(Left in General to have a search result on such questions in here.)
The error you encounter indicates that your version and the servers version of the game are not the same. Are you sure you have the actual version (Beta 3), that is the basic install and all subsequent patches, installed?
I had the same problem and did not dare to ask because I was shure to be flamed for asking such a "stoopid N00bish Qestion"...
When I logged on to the network via STEAM, I got one of the following messages:
"your client.dll differs from the server" or I got into the ready room but couldn?t move and my screen showed a message " Your System has been Modified" ... Code [35,63] well...something like that.
It is NOT enough to simply remove the nsp-folder and reinstall, the problem will still occur. Since NS didn't register in my windows software install/deinstall-list, I downloaded aat (advanced administrative tools) and finally completely removed it and all dll-entries. Then I reinstalled Beta 1 and afterwards directly Beta 3 and it finally works. I didn`t use the unins000.exe in the steam\steamapps\youremail\halflife folder though, which might work too, but this might be the problem you?re experiencing.
Hope this helps...
If your still having this problem, try NSarmslab 69.93.79.2:27018, we do have 3.0 beta 3 running. If you still cant connect, i would recomend that you unistall and reinstall steam and ns.
