  indeed. happens once in a while.
  
  just type crosshair 1 in console to fix it.

  It also happens while shooting.
  
  I was one moment shooting with HMG a then in another moment the crosshair disapeared. Reconnecting didn't help only quiting and again running and connecting.

  Im also a victim of this bug <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> happened in combat map also, i was skulk and next when i evolved to a gorge i didnt have crosshair. Shutting down Natural-Selection wont help, nor does crosshair 1 to console. What could i do now <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->
  
  edit: I got it back when i disabled it first and then activated it again from console.

  Same prob here. But i just can't get back my crosshairs till i re-lauch my NS.
  Retrying or typing crosshair 1 in console still dont work for meh.
  When it dissepear, "crosshair" still on.. so
  
  Some told me to type "crosshair 0" then "crosshair 1" but still

  I should mention that some alien weapons just don't have crosshairs. Are you sure you weren't using one of those Risme?
  
  As far as I know all Marine weapons except Knife, Welder, Mines, and Hand Grenades have crosshairs, so this wouldn't explain Ravlin's bug.

  I am not close to reproducing but:
  
  we were playing on LAN a CO game (i think co_kestrel).
  First the crosshair dissapeared for the listenserver player. He was marine. In a few minutes some other marines also lost their crosshairs. Seting crosshair 0 then crosshair 1 didn't help. When the game ended players switched sides. Players that lost their crosshair did not have crosshairs as aliens (parasyte for skulk, spit for gorge).
  I did not see when the first dissapearence happend. For me I lost it while shooting with HMG. It's not happening in all games, sometime we play a whole game and no crosshair dissapearence.
  
  
  Post your experiences with dissapearing crosshairs and try to observe the exact time of dissapearence. I will try to reproduce.

  Are you guys with dissapearing crosshairs using direct X as the render? Direct X support in HL is badly coded and allways suffered from lots of bugs and lower performance.
