    Do yourself a favour and use valve hammer editor <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I have 6.4a installed and don't have any texture-finding-issues. Mine is pointed to my old won-based hl install though. I think the big issue here is with the steam filenaming. Specifically the fact that the @ symbol isn't commonly used in file names, and tends to throw things off. Also check to make sure that "c:\program files\steam\blahblahblah" is in quotes. Otherwise quark will be looking for things in c:\program.

    There may be a simple answer to this, there may not. I think you just need to download the most up to date files. Mapping Forum FAQ has them.

    Personally I copy the folder over to WON/Main HL, and compile and run from there. Although I don't use Quark that often, it still loads up the textures that way. I also find it much easier to test out a map.

    Did you grab Wolv's 3.0 Quark NS files from the FAQ?

    no am using the ones from the game when u install it....o i figured it out now, its cos quark was looking for textures in "half-life/ns" but my ns directory is default "half-life/nsp"

    jst copied em over to 1.5 install and renamed it ns instead of nsp <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo-->
