hey guys,
picked up some pop tarts yesterday (MMM smores!) and inside was a free demo of the lord of the rings return of the king pc game. it's really awesome...wanted to see if anyone else had picked it up or played it...
here's the site if you're interested...i was really curious after finding a game in my breakfast!

As for the game:
Played It, Beat It in 2 days.
Games sucks.
Basicaly the draw of the game consists of:
Lots of nifty Clips of RotK
Cool Voices (yah, they got the actualy actors to say random stuff)
Great Music (I am rather sure it is all from the RotK Sound track)
Some stupid Interviews (basicaly interview the cast on thE GAME!)
and a mediocer fighting game.
Bad Parts:
1) The Fighting is honestly just Mediocer
2) The Mission Objectives are NEVER explained (thus for the actualy sorta nifty ones you gotta figgure out WHAT they want you to do)
3) The camera angles can BITE ME (worst use ever)
4) YOU CAN'T SKIP CUT SCEANES TILL YOU BEAT THE GAME! (so if you gotta retry a level, you have to sit through their cut scean again, and again, and again.)
Example of #2:
The Black Gate (aka, you can chose from Gandalf, Legolas, Gimli, or Aragorn)
1) Kill the Voice Of Sauron (realy stupidly esay)
2) Hold A position against stupidly large numbers of orcs.
What they DON'T explain is that the actual missions here are:
A) Kill 6 'life bar' enemys (aka NASTY guys to kill)
B) You have to keep the other 3 characters alive (this is actualy hard seeing how as they are stupid, can't actualy seem to kill anytihng, and Gandalf has a thing for sitting there and letting an orc archer feather his back with out blasting the twit)
What they ALSO don't mention on this is that if you stand near you alies then they regain life (I only figgured this out after going to GAMEfaqs, after that thwe battle was stupidly simple).
Amusing Side note:
They actualy stick close to the book then the movie does at a few points (naimly the fact that the Voice of Sauron actualy has the mithril shirt, wich he dosn't in the movie <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->)

I do like pop tarts....I need sugar in the morning, is that so wrong, hehe. Top ramen's good, too, although I'm never brand specific as long as it's chicken-flavored. i'm weirded out by shrimp flavor:)
I thought the demo was cool, good graphics, plus i like LOTR. What systems do you guys have it on?

This is actualy rather comon for companies/websites/stupid people to do.
I am not calling you stuipid, the stupid people are those that come and try to spam outwar links (and then get banned).

And yeah pop tarts are definitely sugary...so I usually eat them at random intervals as well as breakfast...i consider it like a cookie. A strawberry pop tart at like 2 am is a pretty good snack.
