<div class="IPBDescription">Ns_eclipse textures, or hanzs?</div>Hi there, really people I cant seem to make up my mind, whether I want those nice pinkish official ns textures seen in eclipse, or the silver ones Hanz implemented! Any ideas anyone?
Try taking a section of your map, texturing in the pink/brown, take a screenshot... then search/replace the pinkies with the silvers, screenshot again, and let us have a look-see.
Personally I use both in different parts of the map. It gives the whole map a somewhat uniform feel while mainting a distinctive differnce between areas and textures. I like these textures (the lab sets) the most from the whole set because I have a problem finding textures that fit together well, a problem I don't have with those. So, actually my advice would be, if you don't have problem finding the perfect match between all those ns textures then don't use the pink or the silver ones because with the other textures you can make unique and interesting maps as well. Maybe even better.
It depends on what kind of likghting you want to use. The pink textures would respond better to slightly reddish/orangish colors, and the grey ones would be better for blues or greens.

I would also like to add that this pink/silver thing is mainly for the commander room and marine spawn surroundings.

Id say its more down to the lighting you use rather than texture colour.
