<div class="IPBDescription">Or other stuff</div>Say, on the pictures for the maps i see computer screens and button alot of times. What i want to know is, are you able to interact with them? You know like close and open doors, taking air pressur away or what ever it is that makes thing float in Space, open doors or blow holes in the walls and get sucked into space, or other cool things. If you are able to close or seal doors shut are the aliens able to break throught? or if the marines get to a locked door and can't open it can the blow a hole or blow the door away?

    JediYoshi, you clearly didnt read his whole post.  His last question asks if marines can blow locked doors.

    While they arnt blown up, they can be welded open.

    Most of your other questions I can't answer.

    Actually, most of your other questions are up to the mapper but as far as I know they are not in any of the current maps.

    Hmm, well i hope a playtester has any anwser cause in the tales from the front lines i read something about opening or closing airlock or something like that.

    Okay okay... It depends on the map though, it's totally up to the mapper, that feature largely effects the balance of the map itself.

    You can only weld open doors or weld them shut if the mapper makes them like that.

    Yes it is and let me tell you from what i have seen and read about it it look to be a real cool consol game. Of cours everyone knows that Natural Selection is genne be the best, but still Starcraft Ghost looks to be pretty cool.

    Someone called me sexist because they saw that I used the word girl.  He also mentioned something about coil's avatar being a girl for some reason.

    On-topic:  Interacting with computers, breaking down welded doors, etc, are entirely up to the mapper.  Some examples:

    On Hera, many vents can be opened or closed by welding a nearby control panel, which can then be 'used' to close the vent.

    On Tanith, a weldable wire completes the circuit to a communications dish, which then broadcasts a message to a geosynchronous satellite.  The satellite fires a laser, destroying a nearby wall and opening a new path to one of the hives.

    Caged and Romana (which unfortunately didn't make it into V1) both have hives with secondary access routes that can be welded open.  They also both have resource nodes sealed behind weldable gratings.

    There are other examples.

    And yes, my avatar's a guy.  And I'm 22.

    Wow that sound awsome the satelite thing do actully get to see the wall blow up and then see the rubble lying around or does he rubble disapear. Do you get to see the laser or is it invisible to the human eye?

    If Caged didn't make it in then why is it listed as one of the official maps on rr.org?

    Edit: Nevermind, I see now that you meant that only Romana didn't make it in and not both Caged and Romana. Excuse me.

    Usually when someone says look at the URL, they mean look at the -URL-, not the page it's supposed to go to. (i.e. that white text box up in the top when you click the link, or what appears down below when you put the mouse over the link.)

    uhh What guy? When he said look at the link i  thought he mean click it like you never clicked it befor. I did and ruined my mous. but it finaly loaded but it had a error instead of picture.
