Can¸t Make A Server In My Favorites

<div class="IPBDescription">Can´t "Add Server"Favorites in NS Beta 2</div> Hallo

(sorry, for my english ).

I´ve the problem, that i will conect to our Server ( i have updatet NS to Version beta 2 ).

When i Load the Game NS and go to "Servers" then i click to "Favorites"
Then i will add my Server ( with IP Adress and Port ) to the Favorites that i can join.

But, wenn i press "OK" ( after i put the IP Adress in the blank field ), ns won´t add any Servers to the Favorite List.

I also not see my Server in "Internet" so i can´t join to my server.

Can anyone help me?

Make sure your server isn't set to sv_lan 1, make sure your router or firewall doesn't make it so you can't run an internet server. And see if other people can connect to it. I'll look for a server set up guide to link or something... You might also try posting or asking someone to move your question to the server help forum.

I found an english dedicated server how-to <a href='http://www.ticclan.com/tutorials/blakfishs-serverguide.html' target='_blank'>here.</a> But it looks like thats with WON, but you should read through it, I'll try to find a steam one, but I have a dentist appointment soon.

just poked at something:

Ok, you SHOULD be able to add the server no matter what (I just tried to add a fake server)

see if it adds a blank line to your list of favs.

Thank you for your answers.

1. Our Serverip-Adress 62.80.98.148:5700 -=CF=- NaturalSelection by United-Server

2. I have no "sv_lan" in my serverconfig

3. All my friends have the same problem. No one can ADD Server in the Favorites List also i can make a Server ( here at home ) but no one can connect becouse no one can add him to the Favorites List <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /> <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' />

4. When i Add a Server, i ( and my Friends too ) become NO blank Line ore something else.

BUT when we add a Server into the FAVORITES List, we will see nothing. When i look in the STEAM FAVORITES LIST there are the Favorites added. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif' /> ( so, only we will not see the Servers in NS ).

We can?t connect by the STEAM Favorites List becouse if we make a dubbel Click on the Server, STEAM load NOT NS. STEAM load HalfLife and then i get the message "client.dll differs from Server.."

your missing a # in the port <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

note I don't know much about stuff like this however:
All other Ports for servers are 5 digits long where as yours is only 4

If I try to at yours to my favorites it does as you say.

However if I try adding it with an extra 0 at the endi it works fine

I THINK half life might HAVE to go out through a port around 27016 (I only see them coming from 27016 and 27015)
