I've been playing mostly clan games because everytime i join a pub it's either full of newbies or people that don't give a <!--emo&::gorge::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/pudgy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='pudgy.gif' /><!--endemo--> about the team.
Does anyone know some good servers where you HAVE to know the game if you don't want to be kicked?
I've joined 6 servers with my friend and all of them were filled with the 'WHERE DO I GET NEW WEPOANS LOLOMGOROFLRFLO!!!" type.

    NS armslab is pretty good, as is Twilight Eclipse and the BFTG servers

    I would say the Swedish servers hlnu.servehalflife.com:27015 (classic) and hlnu.servehalflife.com:27016 (combat). It's public and of course there are n00bs, lamequiters and so on, but atleast the servers have admins in it pretty often that try to keep the idiotism at reasonable levels.

    My favorites are Plan 9 from Outer Space (195.149.21.214:27015) and, if you can put up with the Spanish mic babble, I NeeD a MedPack! (212.58.133.40:27020), both Cheating-Death servers with great pings.

    depends...try yo clan server, its in uk. newbies dont get kicked, but total retards do. the admins really try and stimulate teamwork, and the level of skill is fairly high

    Yea the most times... but theres still some marine stacking so the marines often lose due to newbie commander or newbie team....

    Agreed, my topic of today was an experience on yo-clan.....its a fantastic place to be alot of the time though, especially late on. More servers with admins, or clan players to promote teamwork would be good.

    Give me a week and I'll have at least one havennet server back up and running. We pride ourselves on good teamplay and well admin'd servers. Basically we run servers that we want to play on and we have a good community base of skilled players to ensure good play.

    If you are interested then check the sig link in a few days for details of the server location.
