I intend of making a clan and i just wanted to ask something. May i use some of the stuff in your pictures to creat my site? Just asking incase i am not alowed to. I don't wanne get sued or anything.
I just wanted to know if they would let people use some of their stuff to make clan sites. I forgot what my teacher in webmastering said. I think you have to put something down to let people see you got permission from them to use it, but i am not sure what it was again. Besides i am just making sure. Just in case.
Actually, I -know- you can use screenshots that have been released to do stuff. In fact, that's usually how most fan/clan sites have been made. You take a screenshot of something, make a pretty background in Photoshop/PaintShopPro, and voila, you have a graphic.
Now, the custom graphics that people have already made? I doubt it. But MonsE or Flayra would probably know better.
Go ahead and use any of the pictures we've released freely, under one condition: you can only use the art for something that exists primarily to promote or enhance NS. So, you can use the art for your NS fan or clan site, you can't use it to create a personal site or for a site that spreads cheats or disses the IRC ops or something.
We've already seen a few violations of this and we take them very seriously.
I am not sure what you trying to say. I am using it to make a clan i have no intentions of cheats. I used like stuff from the rts view to make my site. Don't worry i don't like cheats my self. Thats why i hardly play Counter Strike anymore, because people cheat alot in that game.
