Delphi, the point is none of the maps have location names like "britney spears" or "Holly wood", so the names are a little strange if you actually know what they are refering to.

Give it a break! If none told you most of you wouldn´t even know that it are names of people so stop complaining. The day you make a map you can give it your leet names but this is his map, its great and he has the right to call it how he wants. Just be happy that NS gets more and more maps with each major release.

I don't think you understand Jaml, no one is complaining, we're just pointing out that the location names are a little strange in context with what they are refering to. Clearly it was intended for the names to just be representitive of random Japanees jargon.

I could give you a dozen examples of names that would make people care.... for example, I'd probably give the CC it's own booth and call it 'Hitler's Throne' for fun

lots of people would all of a sudden start caring if all the locations were named as random profanities for example. Sometimes names are signifigant, you might as well try and find out what they are alluding to.

I'd rather have 1 Hamasaki System than another "Port Engine Bridge blah blah blah" generic name every map has.

It gives the map character, and in my opinion, it is the best new NS map added in 3.0

I love it. I have always found it increadibly boring how generic the location names on the maps in NS are, not to mention often confusing. Thats why I always found it amusing to go into the "room with things" and other such lighter atmosphered places.

I really like these names, it gives the whole map a new atmosphere, in my opinion, this map looked so ... japanese when i first saw it, and why not having a ship/base that was built in some japanese regions of the universe

yeah i like it when a map has a name of a place that you actually remember (like horseshoe for example) just makes you feel more like you're fighting for a specific loaction and not just another resnode or hive
